Eternity
August 14, 2008I constantly think about God and His kingdom, trying to grasp what “infinitely more” means. To many Christians, and according to Ephesians 3:20, “…God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think,” would suggest that our understanding of God’s “power” and “glory” is limited.
If we can not comprehend the glory of heaven, then think of how we can not even begin to understand our incomprehension of such matter.
Following along, I read this quote in Worldwide Challenge (March/April 2008 issue):
”…’If heaven is far beyond our comprehension in its wonder and light, is hell conversely beyond our comprehension in its pain and misery?’”

So i was reading this and it reminded me of something that I think about sometimes and is also in the Qur’an, ” And there is none Like unto Him”… Telling us that there really is nothing in the entire universe, things that are of our knowledge and those that are not… they are all incomparable to God, in any way we can and can’t possibly think.
Incredible! Gives me the hibbie jibbies!
Its very humbling when we become so proud and ignorant, this is a reminder that there is Something so much Greater…
Wait…you’re in ATI?
I had forgotten that you knew the Gramms!!! How fun! I wonder if you and I ever met at a get-together at their house…….

Did you know anyone IRL?
Thanks for posting the link to your blog. I’ll have fun looking around!
God bless.
